LANA DEWEASE, RN
Lana is an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant, board certified, with extensive background in science, surgical services, and research. Lana is a graduate of Northwestern State University. Her practice as an RN, unfolded at a Level 1 Trauma Center. As head nurse, she worked with General Surgery Services in the Operating Room covering Trauma, Colorectal, Burns, Plastics, Laproscopic procedures, Pediatrics, Cardio/Thoracic, as well as Liver and Kidney Transplantation. As an RN First Assistant, Lana specialized in pediatric surgery for several years and then moved toward surgical oncology. Lana is a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses.
During Lana’s tenure as a nurse, she completed several publications, abstracts and presentations. She was a Red Cross volunteer, and instructor of CPR, additionally; she attended courses to become an American Red Cross RN for Disaster Health Services.

ROBIN OLIVER, RN
Robin graduated from Northwestern State University and has eighteen years of experience in surgery where she gained a vast knowledge of infection control issues. For three years, she was the Director of Surgery at a level I Trauma Center. Following this, she became the Director of Outpatient Services at Christus Schumpert Highland Hospital where she was responsible for all surgery and outpatient services. She is aware of the need to provide quality care and workmanship in a cost effective, efficient manner. Robin is a member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses. |
